Chapter 25 So You've Been Two-Timing Her(2)

Judson replied, "Let's arrange Grandpa's 80th birthday party first. She can't quarrel with me for that long."

The mother and son talked about different things and didn't really care about what each other wanted.

If Rose saw this, she would realize why she and Judson were having such a hard time communicating.

Tameka and Judson were identically arbitrary, and the only difference between them was that one loved her too much and the other loathed her too much.

In the end, Tameka took out the two albums again and handed them to Judson.

"While you're recuperating in the hospital, pick a girlfriend."

Judson endured the vague discomfort in his stomach and sulked. "I've said I don't need it."

"This one is different from the former one," Tameka hastened to explain. "This one is an upgraded version. I've noted the girl's family backgrounds, heights, and personalities. Choose carefully."

She slapped the album onto Judson's lap domineeringly.

Without waiting for Judson to sweep it away, she threw the second one at him.

"By the way, after you choose your girlfriend, choose a boyfriend for Rose if you are free. You know her well, so you'll know who's suitable for her. Don't be perfunctory."

"Mom." Arguing was not going to get them anywhere, so Judson put aside the dispute and pushed the albums aside. "Rose and I haven't split up yet."

He wasn't dead yet.

Tameka was shocked. "So you admit you two-timed her?"

Judson was speechless.

He was silent for a moment before saying, "She has been close to Darrin."

Tameka snorted, "Why are you so childish? Adults should know when to let it go."

Tameka would never be a loving mother.

Judson should be grateful that she had not cursed him.

Judson ripped the indwelling needle out of his hand, lifted the covers, and went out of bed.

"What are you doing?" Tameka was surprised and stopped him. "Lay back down and get that needle back in!"

Judson was her son, and even though she sneered at him every day, she was scared half to death when she heard that he had vomited blood and passed out.

Judson grabbed her by the shoulders and lifted her out of the way. "I'll go get her back."

"Son!" Tameka dragged him back and touched his face. "Come to your senses. You and Rose have broken up."

Judson lowered his eyes to Tameka for a few seconds. "When did we break up?"

Tameka touched his forehead this time. "You injured your stomach, not your brain. You made her choose to break up with you. It was my fault to give you a bad brain. Don't go and make a fool of yourself."

The old servants at Imperial Garden had already told Tameka the whole story with exaggerated details.

Tameka was so angry.

But what could she do with her stupid son? It wasn't like she could remake him in her belly.

Tameka just hoped Rose could teach Judson a lesson.

Judson seemed to have recalled for a while before he finally remembered something.

He then scowled. "Such things happened many times, and it's not the first time she has thrown a tantrum. I've told you the more we care about her, the more arrogant she will be."
