Aunt Deletes My Files to Ruin My Job, but It Costs Her Daughter's Instead

Chapter 9

Chapter 9

She fell silent.

The whole room was deathly quiet.

Making Rachel's suddenly ringing phone sound exceptionally loud.

She fell to her knees in front of me with a thud:

"Sis, please, lend me the money! They're waiting for me outside. If I can't pay it back, I'm finished. They have so many photos of me!"

The relatives were shocked: "Rachel, did you take out nude loans?"

It was self-evident.

Aunt Sarah muttered: "So it turns out Rachel was the one pretending all along. We wronged Brynn."

Just then, Aunt Karen, who had been silent for a long time, slapped Rachel hard across the face.

She didn't say a word, just grabbed Rachel's hair and slapped her violently.

No one could stop her no matter how they tried.

Peter clapped on the sidelines: "Hit her good! Hit that lying good-for-nothing!"

Chunks of Rachel's hair were torn out.

Just as she was about to speak, Aunt Karen started beating her mouth with a shoe:

"You dare trick your own mother?! You enjoy making me lose face, don't you?!

I'll beat you to death, you shameless slut!"

Rachel was used to submitting, so she didn't dare fight back. She just let herself be beaten as her jewelry fell to the ground.

The relatives tried to persuade her: "Karen, it's Christmas. Stop hitting her. You've beaten her face crooked!"

Aunt Karen calmed down, then gave Rachel another vicious slap:

"You want me to give you money? Dream on! This money is mine! You got yourself into debt, I don't care if you have to sell yourself or scam people, you pay it back yourself. Don't come ruining the family!"

The relatives couldn't bear to watch anymore and hurriedly said: "Karen, that money belongs to Rachel. How can you stand by when she's in trouble? The child made a mistake, but she can change and earn money properly in the future. If she can't pay it back, who knows what those people might do!"

Aunt Karen was completely unafraid: "That's her fate! She deserves it! Who told her to be so useless she couldn't keep her job? I'm keeping this money for Peter's education. We can't sell the car outside either - that's for Peter to use in the future!"

In that instant, the dull look in Rachel's eyes suddenly cleared, and a raging fire ignited within them.

She grabbed Aunt Karen's wrist as it came down for another slap and violently snapped it.

Everyone was stunned.

Before anyone could react, Aunt Karen had already been stabbed several times by the fruit knife in Rachel's hand.

Blood splattered onto Aunt Karen's eyes, still wide with shock.

Rachel sobbed through gritted teeth: "That was money I earned! When I'm in trouble, you won't help, but you want to save it for my brother? You never loved me at all!"

"I saw the security footage. You ruined my job! How dare you feel no guilt and still hit me?"

"Do you know what I went through for that car? What right do you have to take it? Huh? What right do you have?!"

"Ever since I was little, whenever I didn't do well, you'd hit me and yell at me, not let me eat. When I started making money, I gave you 90% of it, but I never got a single word of praise when I came home!"

"I had a fever but no money for an injection. You gave the money to my brother for snacks instead, saying my life was cheap!"

"My life is cheap, is it? I'm just supposed to be your money-making tool, right? Huh? Say something!"

She stabbed several more times viciously.

Twenty years of resentment, on this night, erupted like an awakening volcano. Everywhere the lava flowed, death and desolation followed.

Aunt Karen died. Grandma had a stroke from the shock. Ten-year-old Peter was traumatized and still can't speak a complete sentence to this day.

Uncle, as the family member, signed a forgiveness agreement to help reduce Rachel's sentence to 15 years.

He said: "When that girl gets out in 15 years, she'll be 40 - just right to take care of me in my old age. Peter's condition also needs someone to look after him. She can't die yet!"
