"He's not home, so come back later." Lexi didn't want to bullshit with her, and was about to shut the door.
Jules seemed to expect her to do so, so she pushed the door open and walked in ahead of her. "Jules, what are you doing? Get out of here right now!" Lexi was furious.
"Mom, who is it?"
It just so happened that Rue came down from upstairs and was annoyed to see Jules appear, "Jules, this is my house! What are you doing here!"
It was clear that although they were blood relatives, they were so disgusted with her.
Jules's heart sank, but she stayed calm, "I just wanted to get back the reward for saving Master Falcone."
Her words provoked a scoff from Lexi, "It's Rue who saved Master Falcone! What does it have to do with you!?"
Although the girl was also her biological daughter, the pampered Lexi was still very disgusted with Jules, as she always felt this wild girl was brutal and unreasonable.
If outsiders knew of Jules' existence, it would only ruin the perfect image she and Rue had built up in front of the public.
Jules looked sideways at Lexi and then at Rue and smiled, "You are worthy of being mother and daughter, as you can lie without changing your face. I'm afraid the Great Wall is not as thick-skinned as you two."
"Jules, you shut up!" Rue scolded, "Mommy, she just came to ask for money. Just give her the money and let her get lost!."
"Well, Rue's right." Lexi nodded, "Mom will go up and get it for her now."
"Since you, the Vaughn family, are not short of money, give me the one hundred million that saved Master Falcone. From now on, we don't owe each other anything." Jules spoke with astonishment.
"Jules, don't be too insatiable."
Rue glared at her, "We'll give you a hundred thousand at most."
"As for the Falcone family, they only recognize Rue as a life saver. Besides, you say you saved Master Falcone, but do you have any proof?" Lexi asked.
"You think I can't prove it even if you delete the video and steal the ring? Don't forget that I passed by that intersection that day and it was recorded by the take-out app software!" Jules waved her phone and added. "The take-out records are not 100% proof that I saved Jacob, but Rue doesn't even have a take-out order for that day! Are you stupid enough to think that Jacob will not suspect? However, instead of getting in trouble and possibly not getting Master Falcone's fee, I'd rather make it happen for Rue."
In fact, Jules' order was not delivered to the customer, so there was no proof that she passed that way. That's why when Rue lied in front of Jacob, she didn't stand up to him and refute it.
The takeaway app was not enough for evidence, but it could threaten the Vaughn family when the time came.

Coming from the girl who was born in the poor countryside and daring to ask for money, the two certainly could not accept Jules' threats.

But the Vaughn family was so mean that Jules was afraid they were upstairs discussing some dirty tricks, so she went upstairs. As Beverly Hills was an old villa of some years, the sound insulation was not good. Jules could faintly hear the two of them talking as he stood in the doorway.
After listening for a while, she didn't hear any dirty ideas against her or against their adoptive parents from their conservation.
Yet, when she was about to leave, she suddenly heard the words 'car accident'. She then was curious and listened carefully to the door panel&
"Jules is insatiable and looks exactly like me, so keeping her is a threat! Besides, Mrs. Falcone likes her so much, how can I marry Jacob if I have her?"
"Rue, having said that, we've already crippled Jules' adoptive father in order to force her to donate bone marrow to your brother. Is it hard to believe that you still want to do it to her?"
"Mom, are you confused? As long as Jules lives, it's a hindrance for me to marry into the Falcone family, unless& unless you can make her a vegetable too!"
At this point, Rue suddenly rose in decibels, and was a little anxious.
Jules, who was standing outside the door, heard her words word for word and could not help but feel a chill down his back.
A little over two months ago, Mr. and Mrs. John suddenly appeared before Jules and said they could take her back to the Vaughn family, but only if she would donate bone marrow to her brother, who had leukemia. They had no choice but to come to Jules because of the bone marrow mismatch between Rue and her brother.
The result was, naturally, a rejection by Jules.
