Sally quickly ran to her room and closed the door behind her. She put her one hand over her red cheek trying to calm herself.

It was not wrong to say that she already had a crush on that rude and scary man who was protecting her right now.

"What should I do? Oh God...." She ran her fingers through her long hair frustratingly.When Gerrad did not pay any attention towards her then she made an imaginary world for herself where he will take care of her and spoil her with his love and that world was in her dreams.

Knowing that she messed up, she sat down and planned of what to do next.

"Sally was three years old when she was brought to the orphanage. Most nights she will wake up while crying and trying to get out of the room.

Therefore I start taking care of her and with time her nightmares decreased. But the strange thing is she never remembered about them. I always took care of her like a little sister and I promised her that I will protect her at any cost."

Gerrad was in deep thoughts after listening the truth from Kelly. One thing he was sure of that the nightmares belonged to Sally's past.

He got up and came out only to find Sally sitting on the dinning table and waiting for him.

As he sat down, she looked at him from the corners of her eyes while trying a way to talk to him.

"Be ready tomorrow. My friend is a neurologist and I am sure that he can find out what's wrong with you."

Sally stared at him with disbelief.

"What's wrong with me? I am alright. See."

She tried to show herself to him but Gerrad wasn't affected by her efforts.

"Please, I am alright. Do you think I have some mental disorder?"

"I never said that." Gerrad start eating his dinner while Sally bit her bit and held his hand making him froze at his place.

"Gerrad..... I.... am sorry. I don't know what I did but I swear I did not mean it. I...."

Gerrad slowly freed his hand and glanced at her.

"Do you know anything about your parents?"

Sally was taken aback by the sudden question and then slowly shook her head.

"Nothing, ....Not even their faces."

He again questioned her while Sally looked at her hands and then shook her head. Suddenly she looked sad and few minutes later she got up and left while Gerrad saw her leaving.

He stayed there for few hours and then got up and walked towards Sally's room.

He knew that she will have another nightmare tonight.He talked about her parents knowing that her subconscious mind will pick up the words and will show her the hidden memories than got burried with time.

He entered in her room and looked at her who was sleeping peacefully on the bed looking innocent and carefree.

Gerrad sat on the couch and stared at her for few minutes but then removed his eyes and looked away as he felt bad as he was breaching her privacy.

He waited for a couple hours but nothing happened and as he was bout to leave Sally moved in her sleep and then sat with as she was crying and sobbing in her sleep.
