Sally blinked and looked around the room which had dim light while a man was staring at her without blinking. The man was Gerrad 's friend and a famous neurologist.

Sally uncomfortably looked at Gerrad pleading silently to save her from that doctor who looked like he also needed a doctor for himself.

"Okay, I will do it. Even it's not in my domain but still I will do it for you." He nodded and informed Gerrad while making Sally scared.

"He is a neurologist. Is he going to operate on my brain? Please no,... hik...."She cried while the doctor suddenly became worried.

"Oh no no, little girl. Don't cry. I am not going to hurt you."

He pulled the chair and sat in front of her. He took her hands in his but Gerrad glared at him who quickly freed her hand and coughed seeing the possessiveness in his friend's eyes.

"So, Sally. The thing is.... this man." He pointed towards Gerrad."...Really cares about you."

Gerrad glared at him while Sally innocently looked at both of them.

"Here,.... look... at me..3... 2... 1.."He snapped his fingers and next second Sally closed her eyes and the doctor laid her on the couch.

"She is hypnotized now. Should I start asking her questions?"

He asked Gerrad who nodded and sat on the other side of the couch while his eyes were on Sally.

"Let's start then." He told Gerrad and then turned towards Sally.

"Sally, finish your food first or I will turn off the TV."

Sally pouted as she was scolded by her mother but quickly picked the veggies in plate trying to eat them as she did not want her mother to not let her watch her favorite cartoon.

Her mother went in the kitchen and start preparing meal as today was her third birthday.

Soon a man entered in the house and Sally ran towards him.

"Papa."

Her father lifted her in his arms and kissed her cheek.

Sally start telling him about her day in broken words while the man laughed over his talkative daughter.

"Sally, let your father change first." Her mother came from the kitchen and took Sally from her father's arm.

"But mama.."She tried to object but her father chuckled.

"Listen to mama or else mama will not let us eat her yummy food." He kissed her mother's cheek and left for his room while she came in the kitchen to help her mother.

Soon they set the table with a homemade cake too.

The family ate their dinner and cut the cake celebrating their little princess's birthday. It was the most fun day for Sally.

After dinner both her parents tugged her in the bed while they went out to clean the mess in the kitchen.

After sometime Sally got up as she heard some faint noises. She coughed as she couldn't breath and the room felt smokey.

"Mama, papa."

She rubbed her eyes and tried to get up when she saw the room burning.

Suddenly she became scared and got up from the bed.

She ran towards the door and tried to open it but she was small to reach the doorknob.

Feeling the heat and smoke, she cried and banged on the door while crying nonstop.

Finally she fainted due to low oxygen in the room still calling for her parents.
