My pregnant wife 2

Shawn groaned and tried to move his head. Around him everything was white and bright and it was hurting his head. He lifted his e and touched his head which was wrapped in bandage but the weird thing was, he wasn't injured much.

He sat up and looked at himself but there was no other injury on his body.

He suddenly became confused as he could still remember the deadly accident that happened earlier.

Shawn slowly got up from the bed and walked towards the large mirror in the room. He stood in front of it and stared a his reflection but still he looked normal.

Confusingly he turned when the door opened and a girl entered inside.

"You woke up." She sounded excited and took few steps to cover the distance between them. She hugged him tightly as she wrapped her arms around his torso.

Shawn was stunned over her action and confusingly stood there trying to remember any girl who looked like her.

"Umm, Miss..." He tried to remove her from himself while she became confused over his behavior.

"Are you alright? Does it hurt anywhere?" She asked him who successfully broke their hug.

"Yeah, I am alright but... who are you?"

The girl blinked while Shawn looked around.

"And where am I?"

"You are in the hospital. You slipped from stairs and were unconscious since last night."

"No, no." Shawn stopped her."I had an accident last night." He tried to correct her.

"But anyway, Is my dad here?"

"Shawn." The girl held his hand with teary eyes.

"I know I am handsome but..." He scanned her who was wearing casual clothes and her face was free of makeup. She looked innocent with her teary eyes.

"You are not my type." He pulled his hand away.

"Shawn, how... how can you...?"

"Oh jeez, stop this drama. If you want money than it's not a big deal. Now I will take my leave because I have to go my house."

Shawn walked out of the room and at the same time a doctor entered with a nurse.

"Mr Shawn, where are you going?"

"I am alright now. I will go and you can send the bill to my dad." He knew the doctor who was a family friend and left.

Shawn entered his house and found his father sitting on a couch while reading some file.

"Hey dad." He sat in front of him while his father looked at him like he had seen a ghost.

"What are you doing here?"

"What am I doing in my house? Nice joke dad."

"But you were in hospital and.... where is Gloria?"

"Gloria...? Who?" He tried to think but nothing came in his mind."But leave it. You know I thought I was going to die in the accident but I am alright. Isn't this strange?"

Mr Mendes put the files away and got up from the couch. He walked towards her and scanned his son who was looking perfectly fine.

The door opened and the same girl entered.

"Uncle." She cried and ran towards him.

"Uncle, I ...." She cried again while Mr Mendes held her from her shoulders.

"What happened? Why are you crying like this? Shawn what you did this time?" He glared at him who chuckled.

"Come on dad. I don't know her. She is acting so she could get some money." The girl stopped crying and stared at him with disbelief while Mr Mendes knitted his brows.

"She is your wife Shawn."
