" I did the dishes." Shawn came out if the kitchen as he wiped his hands with a hand towel and proudly told his wife.

Gloria looked at him and gave him a nod.

"You can leave now." She calmly told him whose jaw dropped as he was not expecting this from her.He didn't know what he was expecting but still he was expecting something but not this.

"I did the dishes." He tried to tell her again hoping that she will understand his situation.

"Okay, it's just dishes."

"Just dishes." Shawn shouted as he threw the hand towel in the table."I did dishes for the first time in my life and you are still showing me attitude."

"It's not your first time." Gloria was till calm while Shawn was stunned.

She didn't want to show any weakness as she had to tame him for his mistakes. She had to make him the Shawn she knew.

"I.... I...." Shawn shuttered."What else you made me do? I can not believe ..... you .... you..... how could you say such thing."

Gloria tilted her head and smiled at him.

"You can leave now."

Shawn frowned and glared at her. He did not want to believe he actually did household chores before.

Suddenly he sensed danger from her.

"She is crazy. I need to leave." He whispered to himself and quickly left the apartment while Gloria chuckled seeing him becoming pale.

Shawn rolled on the bed as he shook his head.

"I can't believe this. I can't believe this... She is lying..."

He sat up and stared in the space.

"But I washed dishes today does that mean.... she actually made do these things."

He fell on his back and burried his face in the pillow.

"I will leave this building tomorrow. I don't want to live with her. It's her child and she can take care of it."

He made a decision and finally felt relax.

Gloria came out of her apartment as she wanted to go for a walk. She reached near the lift and felt weird that Shawn wasn't following her.

She came out of the building and reached to the garden feeling the fresh air. She sat on the bench as her mind was still stuck on the same thought.

She knew it was not his fault that he forgot about her. Even if he forgot about her but she still remembered him.

He was still the same Shawn whom she loved dearly but he didn't love her anymore.

"Don't worry baby, daddy is not going anywhere. He didn't have any choice. Even if he dared to, mummy will drag him back. Mummy will not let him break the promises that he made."

She gently creased her bump with a glowing smile on her face.

Shawn never wanted a relationship as her mother left him and his father for another man. He was scared that someone will leave him too and therefore he always ignored the voices inside him.

But when he met Gloria he forgot about that voices and married her.

Gloria loved him dearly and he forgot about his fear. He trusted her and loved her with all his heart.

But now he was standing at the same point where he didn't want to trust anyone.

Gloria smiled and got up from the bench and walked towards the building where Shawn was talking to the manager about leaving.
