Chapter 16
Chapter 16
"Just... Sophia is really married now. Does she still have to choose among you? Who does she actually prefer?"
"Could it be... Could it be that she wants all of you?"
As she spoke, Lily Wilson quickly glanced at the reactions of the four men before deliberately slapping her own mouth.
"My mistake, take that back. Sophia must only have feelings for one person. She wouldn't be indecisive."
Adrian Pierce paid no attention to her provocative words. Right now, he was the only one with a legitimate status.
Not to mention, he and Sophia Sterling had already opened up to each other the night before.
She had long since let go of the Kingsley brothers, there wasn't an ounce of affection left for any of them.
Adrian was confident in himself, but the three Kingsley brothers fell into silence.
They even eyed each other warily.
For years, they had been competing for Sophia's affection, yet no clear winner had emerged.
Even they didn't know who she truly preferred.
Could it really be, as Lily suggested, that Sophia wanted all of them?
At that thought, Ethan, Liam, and Noah Kingsley exchanged threatening glances.
Though they were triplets, they had been rivals since birth.
Their personalities were similarly domineering, none of them could tolerate sharing.
The mere idea was unbearable, let alone actually going through with it.
"Impossible!"
The three spoke in unison, only to grimace at their own synchronization.
Lily was startled by their vehement reaction but quickly schooled her expression, treating this as a test of Sophia's influence.
Just as she was about to stir more trouble, Sophia descended the stairs slowly.
Rubbing her sleepy eyes at the noise, she murmured, "Did someone come over?"
Following Adrian's faint, comforting scent, she leaned against his back, pressing her full weight onto him with complete trust.
Despite having met only a few times, she hadn't expected to feel so naturally attuned to someone.
Noah nearly lost his mind at the sight of her familiar gesture.
"Sophia! You can't cling to him like that!" he snapped.
In the past, when she was too drowsy to wake up, she would lean on him like that.
But now, she was doing it with someone else.
He couldn't accept it!
Ethan and Liam looked equally furious.
Sophia's unsteady gait and the faint love bites peeking from beneath her pajama collar drove them mad.
Before, they had restrained themselves, afraid of pushing her away, never daring to cross any lines.
Yet now, she had given everything to another man.
Jealousy consumed them.
Worse, their triplets' psychic connection amplified the torment, each could feel the others' rage, tripling the agony.
Adrian, however, simply pulled Sophia into his arms, massaging her waist.
"Still sore?"
She buried her face in the crook of his neck, shaking her head drowsily in response.
The brothers nearly lost control at the exchange.
"Sophia, divorce him. Come home with us, and we'll pretend none of this ever happened," Ethan growled, gripping her wrist so tightly it seemed he might yank her away by force.
