The Demon Emperor was Saint Emperor

Chapter 151: Greetings to the Demon Emperor

Chapter 151: Greetings to the Demon Emperor

"Drip"

"Drip"

The entire grand hall suddenly became so silent that one could hear a pin drop, only the sound of blood dripping from the severed head echoed in the air.

"See clearly? Then scram!"

Lynn swung the blood-dripping head forcefully and tossed it beside the headless demon corpse on the ground.

The dignified level 800 peak Great Demon, died without even realizing it himself. Such a death might not have caused him any pain, but it certainly brought immense shock to the other demons present.

"To dare question Me, truly deserves a death... Ilya, what rank or military position did this guy hold?"

Lynn wiped off nonexistent bloodstains from his hands, frowned, and asked Ilya.

"Your Majesty, Erdor was a Marquis of the Envy Demon Kingdom, previously held the military position as the Legion Commander of the 15th Legion. He resigned a year ago after his defeat to concentrate on managing his fief."

Ilya glanced disdainfully at the headless corpse, then truthfully reported to Lynn.

A mere defeated opponent...

Lynn pondered for a moment, then turned his gaze to the thirteen demons who arrived first.

"Who among you is from the Envy Demon Kingdom? Step forward, the fief is yours."

As Lynn’s words fell, the thirteen demons exchanged glances, then twelve locked their eyes on a female demon.

The female demon was big and burly, stocky and muscular, not to Lynn’s taste, but she happened to be from the Envy Demon Kingdom. Upon hearing Lynn’s words and surrounded by other demons, she gritted her teeth and bravely stepped forward.

"I... I am from the Envy Demon Kingdom."

The female demon knelt on one knee before Lynn, cautiously said.

"Alright, the land of that... Erdor is yours, remember to pay tribute to Me on time."

Lynn waved grandly, bestowing the Marquis’ fief upon her, but it wasn’t for free; land taken means tribute owed, revealing his greedy nature.

"As you command!"

The female demon replied joyfully; she hadn’t expected that her visit to the Proud Demon Kingdom, being closer to the Demon Emperor Palace, rewarded her with such fortune.

Erdor was at the same rank—Marquis, had served as a Legion Commander, his fief was affluent, taking it would mean great profits, even if she turned in half of the earnings regularly.

The Demon Emperor on the throne hadn’t officially ascended yet, but she decided to support him—not only due to his formidable appearance that matched her tastes, but because this Demon Emperor was genuinely generous; allying with him promised a smoother path than building her own power.

"Anyone else with objections to Me? Step forward, I still have many more demons to reward."

Lynn looked at the demons who arrived with Erdor, and the three batches that arrived later, disdainfully asking.

Those who came with Erdor shared some bond with him; now witnessing his gruesome death at the hall’s entrance, most felt emotional, yet they dared not express it—akin to the Human Race’s saying: silent anger.

However, their anger wasn’t due to friendship, rather because they were intimidated by this demon who appeared out of nowhere, leaving them feeling humiliated.

They were high-ranking demons; back when the Demon Dragon Emperor was alive, they were given respect, unlike the contempt from this self-proclaimed Demon Emperor.

As for the later arrivals, they didn’t know what transpired but saw Erdor’s headless body in a pool of blood.

Conflicts existed within the Demon Realm, and killings among demons weren’t unusual, but a year has passed without the death of any peak Great Demon like Erdor, given so many died a year ago; those with foresight aimed to preserve some power within the Demon Race.

"I don’t have the patience for repeated introductions; convey My message to the new demons: I am Illidan Stormrage, holding the Divine Oracle of the Guardian Demon God. As the Demon God Envoy, I am taking over the Demon Realm. In three days, My enthronement ceremony will be held here; all demons level 700 and above must attend the Demon Emperor Palace to pay respects, including the Demon Race Commander from Miracle World!"

"No demon shall be absent from My enthronement ceremony for any reason, otherwise it will be seen as disdain toward Me, punishable by death!"

"Today marks the first slaughter; Erdor is merely the first! My decree is issued: latecomers to My audience will be punished! No-shows will be executed! Doubters are doomed! Disrespecters are dead! Anyone who incurs My displeasure will die! Final deadline will not be repeated; you may contact other demons privately; I wish to see who’s impatient for death."

As numerous powerful demons filled half the Golden Hall, Lynn internally marveled at the Demon Race’s formidable foundation while boasting audaciously.

Even in a game, battling such a plethora of top-tier demons wouldn’t exhaust the bosses in a day; Lynn’s level surpassed theirs by a few hundred, yet they posed defensive challenges; they were lord-level boss monsters, their immense vitality alone made them insurmountable.

Bear in mind, the count here wasn’t just a few bosses but hundreds of high-level bosses—less than half yet of the attending demons.

Luckily, this is reality, not a game; demon bosses’ lives aren’t measured in health bars. They’re not gods, not even demigods, a decapitation leads to instant death.

Given their high average levels, regular and Holy Artifact Level survival items were ineffective, making it easier for Lynn to slay them compared to the Celestial Mandate Emperor.

The Celestial Mandate Emperor was weak, having levels only in the two to three hundred range; demigod survival tools could save his life. Higher levels required superior items; even affluent demons couldn’t furnish every demon with such rarity.

That is why Erdor, slain by a single strike, lacked such protection; Lynn suspected fewer than five demons within the Golden Hall possessed three or more lives, including two Demon Kings.

"Lust Demon King’s Phantom: Triss, pays respects to the Demon Emperor."

"Greed Demon King Liss Modor, pays respects to the Demon Emperor."

At that moment, two voices came simultaneously from outside the Demon Emperor Palace; two young female demons, dressed as Demon Kings, entered the Golden Hall, slowly bowing before Lynn.
