Chapter 466: The Authority of the Volcano
Chapter 466: The Authority of the Volcano
Goku leaped back rapidly, but before he could stabilize his position, the earth beneath him cracked open. A massive pillar of magma erupted, aiming straight for him. Goku slammed his Rujakpalo Mace down to shatter the molten flow, causing the incandescent fluid to scatter and melt the unfortunate Demons who couldn’t escape the disaster in time.
But the surprises for Goku were not over. Other pillars of magma began to thrust up from the earth, as if a volcano were trying to break out from the very heart of the world. The vast area around them instantly transformed into a magma crater, incinerating everything in its wake.
Theoretically, a mage’s Domain should not be able to function perfectly while an Asura’s Vivid Dream is active. When an Asura’s Mind Realm manifests, the laws of their internal world should disrupt the stability of the Astral Realm. However, a Law Master is indifferent to the control of a Mind Realm. They possess absolute authority over the laws of the world; as long as a shred of natural law exists, they can command it at will.
This was why Furfur no longer needed to expand a Domain like a Level 5 or 6 Constellation mage. He needed only to issue a decree, and the world would obey him with joyous submission.
Lava and magma merged, soaring toward the heavens before hovering in mid-air. The molten fluid moved like guided projectiles, zeroing in on their target. Goku was preoccupied by the rain of magma attempting to devour his body. While his physical endurance should have allowed him to swim in ordinary lava, Furfur’s magma was different. Every drop contained the Law of Furfur, capable of burning and pulverizing everything it touched. The Rujakpalo Mace, being a legendary weapon, would certainly not melt—but the same did not apply to Goku’s body.
His Kekayon Armor was already covered in scorched patches, and parts of it began to liquefy under extreme temperatures that could melt diamonds in an instant. Goku realized he could no longer hold back; he had to unleash his full strength immediately. Yet, before he could summon his complete form, a fierce silhouette lunged at Furfur, who had remained motionless until now.
It was Vakgar, who had just crawled out from a rift in the earth. His Kekayon Armor was melting in several places, and his headgear was half-shattered. With a feral roar, Vakgar slammed his Rujakpalo Mace down. The magma hovering around Furfur instantly solidified into a shield.
BOOM!
Once again, an ear-splitting collision shook the battlefield. This time, Vakgar was clever enough not to linger in a contest of strength; he immediately retreated and landed beside Goku.
"Madness! This Demon is a true monster. I hit him with everything I had, and he didn’t even budge an inch," Vakgar grumbled, though the grin on his face only grew wider.
"We have to attack together. Vakgar, use your full power. I will manifest the Half-Form of Bhima!" Goku commanded.
"Hehehe... half plus half makes one, right? I want to see who is mightier: the Great Bhima or this volcano."
Vakgar had currently mastered fifty percent of the Bhima form. At that level, he could summon at least two pieces of equipment and three attributes of Bhima.
Simultaneously, Goku and Vakgar concentrated their Dragon Prana to manifest the Half-Bhima form from their Mind Realms. Instantly, the aura around them turned harrowing. The power of Bhima flowing through them made them feel capable of toppling mountains with a single fist.
The Kekayon Armor that had been melting slowly reshaped itself, resembling the magnificent carvings of the Pandava. For the first time, Furfur’s expression changed. His eyes narrowed, and Goku could even see a faint smile playing on the Demon’s lips.
"Interesting. It seems I must once again acknowledge Lucifer’s intellect. I did not expect creatures like you to be capable of summoning an authority this potent," Furfur’s voice boomed, sounding like a suppressed volcanic eruption.
Goku and Vakgar, who were poised to strike, held their positions.
"Earlier, I thought to myself: should a noble figure such as I personally intervene to exterminate insects like you? Would it not be wasteful, like shooting a mosquito with a cannon? However, I did not expect you to have access to a Mana God form of this caliber. Who is this figure you summon?" Furfur asked.
"He is no Mana God, but a Pandava. A legendary King whose strength can shatter mountains with a single finger. His name is Bhima the Werkudara!" Goku answered. The tales of the Pandavas had become bedtime stories for the children of Wilwatikta ever since Moku first recounted their history.
"Is that so? Bhima the Werkudara... I do not understand the meaning of ’Werkudara,’ but for a title given to a warrior as tough as he, there must be a magnificent meaning behind it. Perhaps he is a figure equal to me. I would like to fight him, but it seems you two are not yet capable of bringing his complete form into this world."
"Heh... I might only be able to summon half, but Goku here can summon his full power if he wants to!" Vakgar challenged.
Despite his muscle-bound brain, Vakgar was not arrogant. He knew full well that Goku currently far surpassed him in mastering the Bhima form.
However, Furfur shook his head slowly. "I know this Asura named Goku has not yet unleashed everything. However, even if he were to summon the full form of Bhima, he would never be as strong as the original. A true warrior is not just about physical attributes or spells. True warriors are strong because they were created to be strong. No amount of training can make the weak equal to us."
"Heh... you think we’re weak? Don’t be so arrogant, Demon! You’ve just lived longer and had more time to train than us. Born as the strong? If Moku heard that, he’d laugh at your stupidity!" Vakgar shouted with pure loathing.
Vakgar and Goku remembered clearly the days when Orcs were hunted like rats. They were a species born without a single drop of mana in their bodies. The world hated them, yet through sheer tenacity, they had reached this point—fighting those born with every privilege. All of this was paid for in sweat and blood. Vakgar spat on the philosophy that strength was merely a matter of birthright.
However, Furfur ignored Vakgar’s rage. "Now, let me show you... exactly what the ’true strength’ you consider weak looks like!"
Suddenly, the surface of the magma beneath them heaved, bulging like an abscess about to burst. One by one, volcanic cones formed, spewing hot lava into the atmosphere. Their numbers multiplied; from one to ten, then to hundreds. The already extreme temperature skyrocketed, turning the clouds in the sky a glowing, fiery red.
"I will slaughter you all, until not even ash remains of your scorched bodies!"
