Judson froze.

How long had it been since he last saw Rose cry?

Rose never cried when faced with him.

Rose froze. Then she returned to being calm.

"Yes." She slightly nodded and admitted it. "Darrin cares about me. And I'm worried about him."

The fire of anger lit up in Judson's originally cold eyes. Anger filled his face.

Before he continued to attack, Darrin's fist hit toward him.

Judson froze. Then he avoided the fist out of instinct.

But Darrin's fist still brushed across Judson's face.

It caused only a little pain on Judson's face. But Judson got angry.

He grabbed Darrin and attacked again.

This time, he didn't hesitate. He used all his strength.

Darrin staggered backward for a few steps with the punch. He happened to stand by Lillian's side.

Darrin stood up, wiped the blood beside his mouth, and was about to fight back. However, Lillian suddenly hugged him from behind. Her hands reached from down his arms to his front, controlling his body firmly.

"Mr. Carroll, don't do this." Although she said this, she was actually helping Judson control Darrin. "Don't make things big."

Darrin hesitated for a while and failed to get rid of Lillian. Judson's second punch had arrived.

"Judson!" Rose rushed forward to grab his waist and held him behind. "Don't fight! How can you hit him?"

Darrin had gotten rid of Lillian. Taking the chance that Judson was held back by Rose, he returned the punch Judson gave him just now back to Judson.
