A violent shiver ran down her spine.

In front of the vanity mirror, she quickly touched up her makeup, crafting a pitiful look—softly downturned eyeliner, pale lips. She changed into a loose white dress, amplifying her fragile appearance.

The moment the livestream began, tears streamed down her face.

"Everyone..." Her voice quivered. "I... I was betrayed..."

The chat exploded instantly.

"My boyfriend... got someone else pregnant behind my back..." She clutched her stomach, shoulders shaking. "But I'm already... three months along..."

She mirrored Annabelle's ordeal word for word, even embellishing it further.

"He threatened to force me to terminate the pregnancy..." Tears splashed onto the back of her hand. "Please... help me..."

The livestream erupted.

"Monster!"

"Drop the address!"

"Don't worry, sis, we're coming!"

In less than half an hour, over a hundred people gathered outside her apartment, waving banners and chanting slogans.

Lillian stood by the window, a faint smirk curling her lips.

Suddenly, a fleet of black cars screeched to a halt. Doors swung open in unison as rows of black-suited bodyguards emerged.

The crowd fell silent.

Sebastian strode forward, impeccably dressed in a tailored suit. With a single gesture, his men cleared the area.

"Sebastian!" Lillian lunged at him, only to be shoved away.

"You should've considered the consequences when you laid a hand on her." His voice was glacial.

She staggered, bracing herself against the wall. "I'm carrying your child!"

"Child?" Sebastian scoffed. "I never touched you that night."

Her face drained of color.

"Surveillance footage shows you drugging Annabelle." He advanced step by step. "Now, it's time to settle this."

Bodyguards swarmed in. Lillian screamed as she was dragged away, her livestream equipment smashed to pieces.

In the distance, police sirens wailed closer.
