Sally opened her eyes and jumped out of the bed before running out of the room.Today was her birthday and she could not be any less happy.

She reached down in the hall and looked around but she was not able to find anyone.

Scratching her head she walked outside and found Gerrad coming inside.

"Hey." She smiled at him who gave her a nod but did not say anything.

"Today is my birthday." Sally told him while walking beside him.

"I know." He coldly replied making her disappointed.

Sally stopped while Gerrad entered the house.

Sally stood there and suddenly anger took over her. She knitted her brows and turned towards the opposite side.

She walked towards the gate but was stopped by the guard as Gerrad banned her from leaving the house.

This made her even more angry and she walked away from the guard but looking around the house.

Finally she smiled as her eyes fell on the tree which was growing near the wall. She walked towards it and looked at it trying to figure out how she can leave the house.

Finally she rubbed both her palms and placed them on the trunk on the tree. She slowly started climbing the tree and soon she was standing on the wall.

She jumped outside and landed on the soft soil.

"Now I will see how he can stop me. I am going back to Kelly and I don't need that uncle anymore. Old and rusty rat."

She scoffed and start walking forward rather amused over her success.

Soon she was on a road trying to get a lift to the orphanage when a car stopped near her.

The back door opened and she went pale seeing the person inside.

"Sir, sir...."

Gerrad was reading a book when a guard came running inside. He was breathless and looked scared.

Gerrad glared at him making him more scared.

"Sir, ... that.... girl ...."

"What happened to her?" Gerrad knitted his brows as he could expect anything from her.

"She.... she... escaped."

The frown on Gerrad's face deepened and he quickly got up.

He came outside and sat in his car. He knew that she must have left for orphanage.

He speedily drove the car scared that something bad might happen to her. On the way, he saw Sally struggling against a man who was pulling her with him.

The man was none other than Robertson and seeing the fat man touching Sally, his blood boiled with anger.

The next second he hit the car of Robertson while his men tried to save their master.

There was smoke and dust everywhere while Sally was trying to understand everything. Gerrad pulled to a side and made her sit behind the car.

"Are you alright? Did you get hurt anywhere?"

He asked her who looked dazed.

"Sally." He cupped her face while Sally started crying.

"He... he tried to kidnap me....I... was... so.... scared...."

"Shh,..."Gerrad patted her face and at the same time a bullet passed near him. Robertson and his men were firing at them.

Gerrad made her sit in a safe place and took out his gun. Sally suddenly became scared seeing the black metal in his hand.
