Two weeks passed and Shawn was completely ignoring Gloria. If it was not for her father in law she must have lost all hopes.

But she loved him and did not want to be a burden for him therefore she decided to leave as she couldn't bear how Shawn looked at her.

She was sitting on the bed in Shawn's room to gather her stuff when he entered the room and looked annoyed after seeing her in his room.

"What are you doing here? Did not I told you to not enter in my room?"

Gloria's heart ached but she tried to smile.

"I came to gather my stuff."

Shawn raised his eyebrow but then a smile appeared on his face. Finally she was leaving him and now he was free.

"Of course, of course. Gather whatever you want to. I won't stop you." He smiled and left the room happily. As he came down he saw his father entering the house with his assistant. He sat on the couch and took his phone out.

Mr Mendes stopped and looked at his assistant."Did you order the food?"

The assistant looked confused as his boss didn't tell him anything about it.

"I must have forgot. Leave the files here and bring the food now. Make sure you bring extra pickles and vinegar." Mr Mendes start telling him about the food while Gloria came down too.

She was talking to his father while Shawn wondered why his father was ordering food for her.

He shrugged his shoulders and lost in his phone again.

Gloria hungrily took a bite of the big juicy and spicy burger. She knew she will regret it later but right now all she cared was about spice so they could lessen the pain in her heart.

"Do you need anything else? May be a diet coke or you will become a fat cow at this rate."

Shawn taunted her while Gloria's hand stopped. She looked at him with broken expressions while Shawn felt bad. He did not know why she looked at him like that.

He quickly took the water bottle and left the kitchen.

The next day, Gloria left the house and shifted to an apartment in a luxury building.

Mr Mendes was satisfied with the security there and forced Gloria to live there while she didn't want to take any money from her father in law.

After Mr Mendes left, she sat on the couch. Suddenly the apartment felt so empty and she wanted to cry. A tear rolled down her cheek but she quickly wiped it. She was sure that one day Shawn will come back to her.

It's been a month since Gloria left and Shawn was enjoying his freedom. Kavin was first angry with him after knowing about Gloria but then he stopped giving him any advice.

Shawn was hopeless and Kavin did not want to waste his time on him now.

Shawn looked at his watch and kept driving. He had to meet an old friend in a restaurant. He stopped at a signal and was looking around when his eyes fell on Gloria who was coming out of a hospital with his father.

He stared at her who was smiling brightly as his father told her something. The hospital was one of the top hospitals and he knew everything about it.
