Shawn angrily walked through the big building before reaching to his father's office. He opened the door with a bang but because it was as a glass door do it didn't do the work what he wanted.

He walked towards his father who was now looking at him and forgot to give instructions to his assistant who was also stunned over the previous president of their company.

"I need to talk to you but ALONE."

Mr Mendes gave a nod to his assistant who immediately left.

"What is this?" Shawn threw the file in front of him.

"It's a file." Mr Mendes calmly replied making his more angry.

"I can see that too."

"Then leave."

"Is she pregnant? Why is she pregnant?"

Mr Merdes chuckled softly looking at his son who was confused angry and everything else.

"You know this better."

Shawn scoffed.

"I was against this married." Mr Mendes informed him whose anger disappeared in a second.

"You were?" He couldn't believe his father was with him in this matter.

"Yeah, I knew you better. She didn't deserve someone like you but then you changed your self.But now you are again that spoiled man kid." Mr Mendes showed him the reality while Shawn whined.

"Dad .."

"You can leave now but if you tried to bother her anymore then I won't forgive you."

Shawn made fists and left the office in anger.

Mr Mendes lifted his head and saw his leaving and suddenly felt bad for Gloria who was still hoping that Shawn will come back for her.

But Mr Mendes knew his son better than Gloria as she never saw his true self

Gloria put few green pickled olives in her mouth and chewed them feeling the slightest sour taste of the vinegar.

Her one hand was resting on her not so visible stomack as her first trimester ended few days ago.

She was startled by the sudden sound of bell and put the jar back on the shelf.

She opened the door and was surprised after seeing Shawn standing in front of her. She suddenly felt happy and a smile appeared on her face.

Shawn passed near her and entered the house. He looked around the apartment knowing how expensive it was and turned towards her who was standing while looking nervous. Shawn's eyes fell on her stomach area but under the large shirt he was not able to find anything.

"How you came here? I mean you should...."

"I don't want this child. Abort it." He told her in a stern tone and Gloria stared at him with disbelief.

"Shawn, it's our baby. How could you say such thing." She looked she was about to cry.

"How can I know if it's mine? I don't remember anything and I have no idea what kinda kind of person you are." He smirked at her who was pale by now.

"What if you wanted money and do did all this drama....?"

A tear rolled down her cheek.

"You are talking about my character." Her voice was heavy as she was trying not to cry.

"Then abort it."

Gloria nodded as she chuckled sadly.

"You are right. This is not your child."

She looked at him with anger.

"It's mine and I know how to protect it. Now get out of my apartment before I call the security."
