Shawn finished his glass and put it on the table trying to escape from the reality. He was a mess and his emotions were a mess too. He was unable to decide what actually he wanted. He looked around at the people who were invited at the party by Kavin and knew most of them.

Kavin was talking to his wife when he saw Belle walking towards him.She sat beside him with a smile.

"It's been long time since we last met. I heard you got married."

Shawn wanted to shout at her that he also got in an accident due to her but only managed to smile.

"I thought you never wanted to settle."

Shawn moved on his chair. That was right but now everything changed. He wanted to sigh but smiled at her.

"What about you? Are you still single?"

Belle moved a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"I actually got married when you were still in coma. I wanted to invite you but...." She chuckled.

Shawn rolled his eyes.

"My husband loves kids and I wonder if you are still same. I pity your wife who...."

Shawn got up and buttoned his blazer.

"I should leave now. My pregnant wife must be waiting for me."

"Pregnant?"Belle looked at him confusingly while he smiled brightly for the first time as he decided to walk out if his past.

"Yeah, ... pregnant.. I will be a father soon."He walked towards the exit with a smile as he was feeling light.

Gloria looked for the keys in her bag and pulled them out as her hands touched them. She got out of the lift and walked towards her apartment.

She stopped as she saw Shawn standing outside the apartment while knocking at the door.

Feeling her presence, he turned towards her and gave her a welcoming smile.

"What are you doing here?" Gloria crossed her arms over her chest and gave him a stern look.

"I wanted to talk to you."

"Okay talk." She didn't show any emotions while Shawn was not expecting this kind of behavior from her.He inhaled deeply.

"I thought about it and I was thinking.... like... may be we can sort everything."

"Like what?"

"About the child." He tried to smile."I will take responsibility of it. Of course it's my child and I will take care of it."

Gloria nodded and walked towards the door. She put her keys in the lock and opened the door.

She entered inside but then stood in the door blocking his way.

"We don't need you." She looked straight in his eyes who scoffed.

"Come on. I know you are trying to show some attitude to me but...."

Gloria shut the door on his face.

Shawn stood there unable to understand what just happened with him. Finally he moved and angrily huffed.

"How dare she to shut the door on my face? I was trying to be good with her and this.... this bitch."

He turned and left the building while inside the apartment Gloria was sitting in the couch in a devastated condition.
