"I want to talk to the lawyer." Mr Mendes held his heart as Shawn entered his room with a bang. He glared at his son who looked angry right now.

"Why?"

"I want my child back from her."

"Shawn." Mr Mendes tried to warn him but he lifted his hand and stopped his father from saying anything.

"Do not take her side."

Mr Mendes sighed and motioned him to sit on the bed with him.

Shawn was angry but he sat on the bed anyway. The next second Mr Mendes pulled his ear.

"Stay away from Gloria."

"Dad ..." He whined while trying to free himself.

"I will forget that you are my son if you dared to bother her." He freed his ear.

"But dad..."

"No but." He had a stern tone while Shawn knitted his brows.

"What do you even know about her or the things she is going through because of you."

Shawn bit his lip and looked embarrassed.

"But... but I asked her that I will take care of the child and she is still so stubborn right now." He complained trying to win the argument.

"Do you know what kind of words you used with her? She only knew Shawn Mendes who was a gentleman instead of a player like you. Now stay away from her as she already told me that if you dare to go near her she will leave the city and she won't let me see my grandchild."

"She can't. That is my baby too and..."

"Really." Mr Mendes chuckled.

"How do you know that it's your child?"

Shawn suddenly became quite. Now he remembered what kind of words he used with her.

"She is really disappointed in you."

Shawn quietly got up and left the room while Mr Mendes suddenly looked sad. He did not like the fact that Gloria was not living with them anymore.

She was like a daughter to him and because of her this house looked like home.

He missed her but he was also aware of her inner emotions. Therefore he did not say anything in her son's favor.

Gloria was watching TV when he heard few noises from outside. She was confused first but then she remembered that someone was shifted in the apartment next to her.

She picked the bowl which was full of popcorn and start eating it. Her cravings were becoming worse and he was experiencing hormonal changes a lot.

She will cry for hours without any reason or eat like she haven't eaten in a long time.

She gently creased her stomach as a smile appeared on her lips.

She didn't needed Shawn any more. Sometimes she regretted calling him that day when he slipped from the stairs.

That was the day when she find out she was pregnant and called him to share the news with him but never got the time to tell him about the happy news.

She came out of her thoughts as the bell rang. She slowly got up from the couch and walked towards the door.

She opened the door and found the manager of the building outside her door.

"Miss Gloria." She smiled at her."I only wanted to inform you that a new neighbor had shifted to the next apartment. But you don't need to worry he is really a nice man and I hope you two will be good to each other."

Gloria smiled and nodded but her smile disappeared as Shawn appeared from one side.

"Hello neighbor." He smiled at her while Gloria was standing there stunned over everything.
