Parker had stayed with Cheryl at her friends place. Parker had not wanted to see or speak to anyone after her breakdown. She had basically locked herself in a room and hid from the world. She hated how she had hoped that she would have a family only to be used again. Cheryl had stayed with her and supported her as best as she could. She felt for the girl and saw how broken she actually was.
Parker knew today she would have to face Richard, William and Jaylan because she had a flight back to Sydney. She had built up her walls again and just needed to get through the flight. "Aunty Cheryl, I can't do this" Parker stated as she sat in the car outside the airport. She didn't know if she could face anyone, she wanted to be strong but she felt so broken that she didn't know if she could be. "You listen to me Parker, you are the strongest woman I know. You can and will do this because you are Parker. You will walk in there like the deadly woman you are, with your head held high. You won't take shit from no one" Cheryl stated firmly.
Parker was shocked to hear her aunt talk like that. Parker didn't feel strong at all. "Parker you left home because no one gave a shit. You have grown up by yourself and have succeeded in anything you set your mind at doing. You are at uni to study in another state. You stood up to your step father and he is going to rot in prison. You showed your brothers that you are important. What you went through growing up would break many. But you Parker, you used that to shape who you are. You are not bitter, you want to help people and are kind and caring. You turned some awful shit you have experienced, into your super power and it made you one of the bravest people I know" Cheryl stated. "You are Parker Jones, brave, strong and deadly. Don't you forget that" Cheryl added.
Parker hugged her Aunty and swallowed the lump in her throat. "Thank you Aunty Cheryl. I love you and will make you proud" Parker mumbled to her aunt. "Parker, I am proud of you. Your Ninny is proud of you. Be proud of yourself. Look at everything you have achieved and see what I see, see what your Ninny saw. You didn't let them break you. You got up and kept fighting, that proves you are so much better then any of them" Cheryl stated before kissing Parker on the forehead and sending her into the airport.1
Jude was standing inside the airport with Will, Richard and Jaylan. They were hoping Parker would turn up. Jude was going to head to Sydney so he could connect with Parker if she turned up for the flight, if not he was going to stay in the NT to try and track his sister down and offer her support. He had ignored his brothers calls this morning and kept his phone off so they couldn't track it. Apparently Leon and Tanner were going back to work today and wanted Jude to join them. He had been in contact with Leanne and had offered to sign his part of the company over to Parker as he wanted nothing to do with it.
Jaylan was the first one to spot Parker walking into the airport. He had packed her things up and was holding her carry on bag. "Parker" Jaylan called out. Parker looked over seeing the four of them standing around. Parker saw her bag next to Jaylan's and headed over to grab her things. She had to pretend to be strong because she was still feeling hurt by what they did. She didn't understand why Jude was there but she wasn't going to give away anything.
"Thanks for my things" Parker stated hoping she looked fine. "Parks, I am so sorry" Jaylan stated. "Save it, I'm not doing this here" Parker replied. Richard, Will and Jude were stunned, Parker had looked strong and nothing like the little girl that had been lead away by Cheryl. Parker hadn't even acknowledged any of the others at all. "Parker" Richard stated wanting nothing more then to pull his daughter into a hug and take away the hurt he had caused.
"Richard, do you have my ticket?" Parker asked without bothering to look at her father. "Parker, what happened to calling me dad?" Richard asked. "Richard, do I need to purchase my ticket? As I said to Jaylan I am not doing this here" Parker stated firmly, she did not want to have another break down in front of these people. "Parks, I have the tickets. Jude is going to come with us. Leanne also has been trying to get in touch with you about the will" William spoke up. "Well I have been busy, I will call my lawyer when I am in Sydney" Parker replied before heading over to the check in counter.
William, Richard, Jude and Jaylan followed Parker like lost puppies. Richard was devastated that Parker was back to calling him Richard and being cold towards him. He wanted to turn back time and focus on Parker rather then on that vile man. William checked them all into the flight and they headed to the gate to wait for the flight to be called.
