The Dilemma of Parker

Chapter7

William and Richard went straight to Parker's room to pack anything they could find. There were still clothes and a few little things like old reports from school. Richard would cherish those because it was some connection to his daughter. He just hoped that he would get a chance to meet his little girl and apologise for never being there for her.

Leon was in shock after hearing his mum wasn't his biological mum. He never once suspected anything at all. He was ashamed of himself for how he treated Parker, she was his little sister and he had let her down. He sat next to the woman who he had known as his mother and didn't know what to say.

Tanner and Jude had followed William and Richard up to Parker's room. Both of them hated that Parker's room was empty and that Richard and William were taking what little stuff was left over. "Please don't take her all her things" Jude whispered. He didn't want to lose the last connection to his sister. He was horrified that he had forgotten all about Parker. "She won't be back here" William spat.1

William was annoyed with himself. He should never of convinced Parker to take up the uni scholarship. He had no idea which uni she was even at. All he knew was that the ticket he brought his baby sister was to Melbourne. He wanted to tell his dad so they could start the search for Parker. William also wanted to hurt the Jones brothers like they had hurt Parker.

"This is the only home she knows. You can't take that from her" Jude argued. "You mean the home she was made a slave? Where a man who she thought was her father made her entire family use her? Where no one bothered with her birthday or her school life? She was alone and this isn't a home I will allow any child of mine to be part of. Your mother kept my child from me and I promise you, I will do the same thing to her. I will find my daughter, but none of you will have any part in her life again" Richard boomed out. He was so angry at the fact he had a daughter out there that had had a horrible home life. He would of raised his baby girl by himself if he had of known. He knew Tamia's husband was a piece of shit.

Richard and William headed home once everything that was left in the room had been removed from the Jones home. Leon had tried to talk to William to get information about where Parker was but William wouldn't acknowledge the man he once considered a friend. "Please Will, you are my best mate. I just need to know where Parker is. I swear I'll make it right with her" Leon begged.

William stopped and turned to face the guy he had grown up with. "Where were you last night?" William spat. "What?" Leon asked. "Where were you last night? What was so important you missed something else of Parker's? You blamed business for the birthday which turned out to be you getting a piece of arse. You assured me you would be at the next important event. So tell me Leon, where were you?" William spat. Leon couldn't look William in the eyes anymore. How could he say he was balls deep in a chick?

"That's what I thought" William stated before exiting it he house. He knew exactly where Leon had been. He had made a promise to Parker not to tell her family where she was but now he knew that Parker was his sister, he wouldn't bother telling her supposed family where she was. He would find Parker and protect her from the people she thought were family.

When Richard and William headed inside their house, William grabbed his computer and started searching uni's in Melbourne. He would call every single one of them if he had to. "Dad I brought her a ticket to Melbourne. She got a scholarship for uni. She is doing midwifery, she told me last night when I took her out to dinner after the graduation" William rushed out.

Richard got to work on helping William to search for university's that offered the course Parker was doing and making calls. Most wouldn't even give them a yes or no due to privacy so they got creative on why they needed to know the information. The last uni they rang in Melbourne, the gentleman was very forthcoming with information after the sob story that William created. They learnt that Parker had been accepted but had turned the offer down as she had been accepted into a University into another state which provided her with a full scholarship. With that information William deflated. Now he didn't even know where to start looking for Parker. She had flown into Melbourne but could have easily gone somewhere else from there.

Richard decided to contact the high school to see if he could get any information from them on Parker's whereabouts. The school refused to give him the information at all. They wouldn't even speak to him knowing he had no connection to Parker. "Fuck, we need one of them to get any information from the school" Richard spat. He didn't want them knowing where Parker was but he wouldn't be able to access anything at school with out the help of a Jones.

Tamia had sobbed the entire time since William and Richard took all her daughters stuff. She knew she had no right to be upset as she had done this. "Mum, we need to find Parker" Leon had spoken up. "I'm sorry this is all my fault" Tamia had repeated. "We need to fix this" Tanner stated just as the phone rang. Jude jumped for the phone hoping it was his sister so he could beg her to come home. "Parker?" Jude answered.

"This is Sargent Smyth, you have a call from Tyson Jones will you accept the call?" The person on the phone stated. "No" Jude yelled before slamming the phone down. "Fucken bastard" Jude mumbled. Tamia had hope when Jude had said Parker but that had crumbled. "Oh Parker, my little girl, what did I do?" Tamia mumbled before going back to sobbing.
